Hi my name is Janelle Toheriri & I am the founder of MJM BEAUTY (Meika Jayda-May) which is named after my 2 girls,

I started my journey as a lash artist after having Meika my youngest daughter but I never really persued it till April this year. I have spent the last 20 years working for my parents business Tararua Shearing as a wool technician/ cook with the goal of taking over the family business this all changed last year as I decided not to live out my life long dream so I needed to find something new.

Why lashes? Lol that is a big difference from sheep or cooking - well I had been getting my lashes done by a friend for the past 5 years and she had taken a break, there was no one else locally so I thought why not get into it can’t be that hard ha ha boy was I wrong!

I did an online course through LASHESES and this was a great starter but I needed more so I trained under Kirsten @KTLASHES and also trained in Lash Lift at the same time

I think it was around May 2020 that I decided to add some more services & enrolled in Nails. I am now a qualified Nail Tech and am also qualified for Dipping, Brow lamination, Brow wax and tinting, Hybrid brows , Airbrush brows, Teeth whitening, Spray Tans, Microblading ,Ombre Brow tattoo and Fineline tattoo

All services that I offer are things that I really enjoy and have a new found passion for. I aim to provide a great quality service where all my clients leave happy and satisfied.
